Tutor and/or be a mentor Natividad Prep Academy!
Tutoring. Wednesdays 1:30 – 2:30 PM (not during holidays) for tutoring in a variety of subjects. It’s easy to get involved and the school is easily accessible via the CA-94.
Mentoring. Mentors offer one hour a week any day during lunch or study hall (4:30 – 6:00 PM). Lunch is 12:00 – 1:00 PM Mon-Tue-Thur AND 12:30 – 1:30 PM Wed, Fri. The goal is to give 6th – 8th grade students with positive role models who strive to build trusting relationships while encouraging their mentee to continue their education. Mentors are adult volunteers (21 years and senior) who commit to supporting and guiding a young student in a one on one relationship one hour per week throughout the school year.
Please contact Club VP and Community Service Coordinator, Martin Holguin (community@ndsandiego.org), or Maria Centanni directly at the school via amigos@nativityprep.org or 619-544-9455 x229 for both tutoring and mentoring. Let’s show these kids they can do anything and be anyone they put their young minds to! GO IRISH!
