2017 Crew Classic
Crew Classic Website Link — Event held at Mission Bay, Crown Point Shores Park
Going back as far as we can recall, the Notre Dame Club of San Diego has hosted a tent at the annual Crew Classic on Mission Bay to provide our visiting Irish Crew Teams with a place to rest, fuel up, and socialize with the local Irish family. As the cost of providing this home-away from home has reached epic proportions, this year we’re asking for sponsorship help in funding the event. Here are some ideas for how you can help, but you’re welcome to “make your own sponsorship” as well.
- “hydration sponsorship” – $50 [provide Gatorade/water for the team for the weekend]
- “tent pole sponsorship” (10 poles available at $100 per pole)
- “feed the crew” sponsorship for $200 [snacks for the two days, dinner for the team Saturday night, BBQ lunch for the team on Sunday]
- “cover the tent” at $1120 [provide a shady place for the team to gather in between events]
- “be part of the team” — any amount is appreciated!
Please email Karen Ron ’02 at email@example.com if you can help us put on this annual favorite! Each year we also need families to help host crew members. If you’ve been a host in past years, we’ll contact you directly, but if you live within 20 miles of Mission Bay and wouldn’t mind having a few crew team members crash at your place over the weekend, please email Karen at the address above.
