In addition to dues, members can make donations to the programs described below or make a general donation that will go to our Charity account. Funds in the Charity account are allocated to local charities that are aligned with the spirit of Notre Dame and for whom a donation would make a notable impact.
If you haven’t paid dues for the current calendar year, you can make a contribution online through myNotreDame. You have the option of paying dues or passing on dues and still have the opportunity to make a donation.
If you have paid dues, you can make a check payable to the ‘Notre Dame Club of San Diego’ and send it to: P.O. Box 126894, San Diego, CA 92112. You are also welcome to donate online using any major credit card with Paypal. (You will be able to ‘Indicate the purpose of your donation’ on the payment confirmation page.)
Kathleen Roche Scholarship Fund – Scholarship money is provided to local students who demonstrate the need for financial aid, as determined by the University. Check out the thank you letters from recent recipients.
Summer Service Program – Funding is used to provide stipends to cover the cost of transportation and some incidentals for Notre Dame students providing service to the San Diego community. It could also be used to develop additional Summer Service Projects.
Nativity Prep – Founded in 2001 by Notre Dame Law Student Dave Rivera, this school provides college-preparatory instruction for low income students in San Diego’s inner city. One of the ways our club assists this program is by providing Thanksgiving meals to the students and their families.
